My name is Aimee Elder and I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 20 years experience in the health and mental health fields. I have experience working with individuals of various ages including the intellectually disabled. I am a Christian. I work mostly with adults including seniors. I am comfortable in treating health, depression, anxiety, coping and grief issues. Being a therapist is a rewarding and exciting career. Each case is unique and problems must be addressed on an individual basis and customized to the client's needs.
I believe in starting where the client is. I adhere to a whole person-centered approach by addressing problems and issues from a bio, psychosocial, cultural and spiritual perspective and how these systems impact the client.
I believe in providing an atmosphere of trust and respect where the client feels relaxed, valued, heard and comfortable to share information. I am there to provide a service to support them and help them achieve their goals.
