Parenting is tough stuff, especially when you feel like you’ve tried everything; your parents’ style, your neighbor’s advice, even reading a few recommended books. It can feel like everybody else is parent of the year and you didn’t get the message.
I can help by working with children to identify their emotions, teach how they show up in their bodies, and work to find coping strategies. Parents benefit from learning how to encourage emotional talk, better address family functionality, and gain awareness on the importance of taking care of themselves. Both parent and child are learning how to connect.
What I do is provide a place for each person to be heard and supported as they change together. I’ve been working with children and families and what I love is seeing the confidence from families as they begin to find their own solutions to connect and understand each other.
