Taking the steps towards meaningful and lasting change is no easy feat and it takes courage to start/restart the therapy process. Congrats on getting started; I’m happy you’re here. I work with individual adults who struggle with anxiety, life changes/transitions, and relationship problems, as well as more complex issues like mood disorders, personality disorders, and trauma histories. I believe that having a successful treatment outcome starts with providing you with a safe, trusting, confidential therapist-client relationship.
As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I utilize various modalities to attend to your concerns not only in the present moment, but also with attention to your future well-being. I use a psychodynamic, person-centered framework, and incorporate CBT and mindfulness skills. I view each of these modalities through a trauma-informed lens to meet your needs.
I enjoy working with men and women who want to gain insight to become the best version of themselves. I also have a passion for empowering abuse victims to understand themselves to become strong, resilient survivors. I believe in people’s ability to process and transform their pain to live fuller and freer lives and I look forward to our work together!
