My name is Aida Colocho, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I offer individuals that are struggling with issues ranging from depression, anxiety, divorce, trauma, and emotional support; a treatment approach that focuses on cognitive behavioral therapy, solution-focused, motivational interviewing, and exploration of self. My theoretical approach is cognitive, behavioral and humanistic.
I work with individuals who are experiencing depression, anxiety, self-esteem and self-image issues, relationship issues, and difficulty adjusting to changes in life. I find that people are not taught as children how to manage emotions and feelings or how these emotions and feels trigger our behavior towards life.
I create an environment that is free of judgment and client-centered on being safe and open to exploring clients' challenges and thoughts and promoting insight and growth.
