Have you fully evaluated how you and your family are coping with this pandemic? If you are struggling to answer this question, you are not alone and hopefully we can answer it together. My focus has been on teaching clients to develop healthy behaviors and patterns of thinking that treat depression, anxiety and other forms of emotional distress. I also make sure that we recognize those debilitating thoughts, feelings and actions that hinder our ability to cope during these challenging times. Some clients also seek psychological testing for diagnostic purposes, guardianship, high-stakes testing accommodations and employee screening.
Integrated approaches are used to treat depression, anxiety disorders and ADHD. I offer psychological evaluations for variety of needs, including diagnosis of learning disabilities, developmental disorders, traumatic brain injuries and dementia. Evaluations are also available for screening of employees working with children and for testing accommodations.
I believe that building a trusting relationship with my clients provides a foundation for success with individual therapy. After this relationship is established, my goal is for clients to leave me with the skills and confidence to become their own problem-solvers when faced with adversities.
