Hello, my name is Agueda Cabrera, I am a bilingual Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in California. For over two decades, I have worked with individuals and families to help overcome symptoms of anxiety, depression, ADHD, stress management, PTSD, and family problems. I utilize a strength-based approach as well as evidence-based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I offer warm and compassionate support and guidance to help clients focus on their strengths rather than their flaws allowing for growth during treatment.
I assist clients with identifying and reframing negative thoughts that in the past have contributed to anxiety and depression. I typically work with teenagers, young adults, and adults presenting with a variety of symptoms including anxiety, depression, post-traumatic stress, ADHD, unresolved grief, and family problems.
I was always interested in helping people who struggle with mental health issues and family problems. I feel useful when I notice my client's progress and increased ability to overcome their symptoms and improve their level of functioning.
