I have been able to work in a variety of environments which has allowed me to see issues and challenges from multiple perspectives. I recognize and respect that we all see things differently and how we approach challenges may be different. I believe in being a partner in my clients growth and development. I am their personal coach, cheerleader, doctor, mentor, and person that will hold them accountable. We all need people that will assist us during challenging times that will not judge but assist us in the navigation towards one's goals. One's mental health is always evolving and growing, I will be there with you.
I focus on where the client is. I utilize cognitive behavioral approach to allow the client to see quick improvement. Once we have some changes, we will then peal back the layers to see the root or foundation of the problem. I have learned the balance of pushing clients to deal with an issue or sitting with the client long enough to slowly deal with it.
Dealing with our challenges or issues can be difficult. Frequently we think we can do it alone, but why sit and be in pain. It is a strength to ask for assistance and to embrace change. We live in a chaotic world, it takes a village to navigate the obstacles and roadblocks we face. I encourage you to seek assistance to live your best life.
