As a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Supervisor (LCMHCS), I work with children & adolescents, adults & families to help build meaningful, purposeful lives. Whether it's obsessive compulsive disorder, stress & anxiety, binge eating, depression, or grief, my goal is to create a calm space to explore thoughts and feelings. I bring evidence based skills - treatments that work - to the process of healing and change. If you feel stuck and can’t seem to move forward, I want to offer you hope that life can get better.

Therapy and counseling move at the speed of trust. I believe this phrase captures the core of the therapeutic relationship: meeting clients where they are and moving at their pace. I will listen non-judgmentally and compassionately to what is said and not said by my clients. I provide a safe and welcoming space that fosters trust, where clients feel accepted, heard, understood, and respected. In this collaborative and supportive environment, we can work together to achieve your goals while processing emotions, thoughts, behaviors, and experiences.

Many of my clients come to therapy feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, or major life transitions. With over two decades of experience as an educator, I especially enjoy working with adolescents and adults who are seeking greater self-understanding and meaningful change. Together, we explore the patterns behind thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, build on strengths, and develop practical tools to create resilience, healthier relationships, and confidence.

I believe that every person is the expert of their own world. My job is to listen with empathy and without judgment in order to gain a full understanding of the individual and their presenting problems, and create a fitting treatment plan. My goal is to create a safe space where clients feel heard and understood, and to build a therapeutic relationship in which we can work together to meet clients' therapeutic goals. I encourage clients to reflect on their ways of relating to the world to help them gain insight into how their thoughts, attitudes, emotions and behaviors affect themselves and others.

So much of life is spent managing our various responsibilities, endless to-do lists, and showing up for all the people who need us. Maybe something big has shifted in your life and you're finding yourself in need of more support. Or, perhaps nothing is “wrong,” but something doesn’t feel quite right. You’re functioning, accomplishing, and showing up—but you’re tired, and you want something to change. I work primarily with women ages 16+ and have a special interest in supporting high-achieving women experiencing anxiety, stress, life transitions, relationship challenges, or spiritual concerns.

I understand the importance of telling a person's story. I desire to help individuals tell positive and encouraging life stories. I strive to help clients move through personal struggles by utilizing evidence-based therapeutic approaches. These approaches support learning new thought processes and behaviors and can help create a more meaningful, purposeful, and joyful life. I work to help clients navigate stress, life transitions, and relationship strains. I also enjoy teaching DBT skills on the individual level and helping clients learn to be more mindful and productive in daily functioning.
