I am a certified Yoga Therapist and mental health/trauma clinician with over 25 years experience treating adults, adolescents and their families. I believe in the mind/body connection as well as 'talk therapy,' to address the whole person, offering simple tools to increase coping skills so you can regulate emotions and become aware of triggers. I specialize in helping you with trauma recovery, anxiety, chronic stress and depression. In my practice, you will be able to talk about your challenges to gain insight and perspective as well as learn yoga therapy tools specifically designed for you.
YogaSpeak is my unique model that addresses the emotional and behavioral challenges of the whole person. I can help you identify negative patterns that don't serve you, and replace them with strategies you can practice. These help you regulate your emotions as they affect you in your daily life and change old habits with new techniques for optimal health.
I design my sessions individually for you. After an intake, we will divide your session into time to talk about issues and also to learn and practice yoga therapy strategies to help you during your day.
