I believe people sometimes underestimate the power of talking. Having someone listen with an attentive and empathetic ear can be a cathartic experience. I practice with the philosophy of working to fully understand and appreciate each and every client I work with. My goal is to create a safe and comfortable space where you can say anything.
I am a talk-based therapist whose intention is to help you achieve the goals you set for yourself. From my training in modern psychoanalysis I aim to assist people to look a little deeper. Our early relationships and experiences often shape the way we feel about the world and those around us and it can be of great value to explore this further.
I recognize that finding the right therapist can be challenging. Therefore, I like to treat the first few sessions as a consultation period where we can decide together if it's a good fit. I work with individuals and couples, seeing adolescents and adults. I also run groups and currently have openings in a new adult group on Tuesday evenings (see below).

For people hoping to develop a deeper understanding of themselves and others and work through struggles with the support of the leaders as well as other group members. Open to people who want additional support in conjunction with their individual therapy or people who have previous experience in individual therapy and think the group modality would benefit them at this time.

For women wanting to connect and talk freely with other women about life challenges, relationships, personal and work identities, life transitions, struggles with intimacy, and ongoing stressors. Specifically designed for women who want to increase their confidence, improve their ability to communicate directly with others, and feel less isolated. One individual intake session required to join.
