I am a clinical psychologist specializing in anxiety, relationship difficulties, low self-esteem and disordered eating. My approach is grounded in psychodynamic theory. I believe that healing occurs through the establishment of a trusted therapeutic relationship, increased self-awareness, healthy emotional expression and meaningful relationships. In helping patients gain greater self understanding, I empower them to break away from the cycles that no longer serve them and make choices that enable them to lead more satisfying and meaningful lives.

I offer integrative therapy by drawing heavily from psychodynamic approaches, while incorporating dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT) strategies tailored to your needs.

I’m an especially good fit for folks who appreciate the use of humor and lightheartedness in the work, but also want to move deeper and connect with themselves and their emotions in new ways, instead of always having to compartmentalize or “tough it out” with their emotions. My areas of clinical focus include therapy for men and mindfulness practices, but I also work well with lots of different people.
