We at Advocacy & Education Consulting believe in equitable access to quality mental health care. We aim to serve ALL who are looking for a space to explore their life, various stressors, relationships, healing, growth, and connection. At our core, we believe: the dominant culture’s oppressive ways impact people and therefore a shift to a more egalitarian society needs to occur; with empathic, compassionate, and culturally responsive support, people can change, grow, and improve their lives for both self and social interest; and with culturally responsive education and support, society can do better with and for each other.
As culturally responsive clinicians, we are dedicated to ensuring social justice and advocacy through equitable access to mental health and well-being services. We specialize in trauma, anxiety, acculturation issues, daily life stressors, transitional life concerns, relational problems, and issues related to oppression, marginalization, and colonization.
The work we engage in supports individuals and groups from all walks of life, especially those impacted from traditionally marginalized and under-supported communities. We encourage people to utilize mental health services to support their growth and overall well-being. We see the use of services as a way to improve social justice and advocacy measures.
