I am able to address a variety of needs, with a specialization in serving those who have experienced trauma. I decided to become a therapist because of my passion for helping others. My mission is to help others heal and grow. When people have a safe space to explore their concerns, the possibilities for healing and growth are endless. It is an honor for me to provide that space and empower others to identify the next steps in their journey. I facilitate a welcoming, safe, judgment-free zone. I am passionate about helping teens and adults across the lifespan restore hope and embark on a journey of self-discovery, healing, and self-acceptance using an individualized approach tailored to the unique needs of each client. A relational and strengths-based style, mindfulness, somatic awareness, EMDR, body-based therapy modalities, creative arts and expression are important components of my work.

Although I see clients from 10 yo to 100 yo, my expertise lies with connecting with disengaged youth and struggling adults who may find themselves battling a variety of concerns related to Anxiety, Depression, Trauma, Anger and Grief.

I partner with my clients to reduce anxiety, depression, stress, and malaise, while also building strengths and adaptation strategies. To do this, we usually 1) explore any straightforward or creative ways to alter life circumstances that contribute to the malaise, and 2) identify, then make and implement a plan to reduce any self-limiting thoughts, beliefs, assumptions, and doubts that contribute to my clients' distress. While this sounds abstract and difficult, I am informal in my approach and we often have a good time getting where we're going!

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker that works with adolescents and adults. Supporting individuals as they navigate all of the ups and downs of life is truly an honor for me. Some areas of interest include: at risk adolescents, young adults, LGBTQ+ population, anxiety and panic disorders, trauma and PTSD, postpartum, body image/self esteem, eating disorders, parenting struggles, marriage and relationship issues.

Mary works with individuals, couples and children with goal of building coping skills, emotional intelligence and self empowerment. Her specialties include, grief and trauma counseling, divorce adjustment for adults and children. She is a trained mediator and offers collaborative divorce services. She is trained in EMDR,DBT and offers clinical supervision to therapists. Her training in spiritual traditions, mindfulness and walking meditation brings high levels of empathy and insight to her clients. She has been practicing for many years and is able to offer tele health sessions as we'll as in person.
