Depression, Anxiety, Trauma, and Addiction just add to that weight, fueling avoidance and hopelessness. Trying to navigate all of this alone may feel overwhelming and impossible. Our subconscious mind holds the memories and perceptions of every experience from childhood to adulthood. As we continue our journey, the unresolved past continues to affect our bodies negatively and influence our thoughts, behaviors, and everyday life on an unconscious level. We may not understand why we feel or react as we do to certain situations or why the same patterns show up every time and unexplained symptoms and circumstances keep repeating themselves. Often this prevents us from moving forward with our lives, achieving clarity and authenticity.

Restoring balance and healing our self-limiting beliefs really is possible. Often, our life stressors point to where we need to heal. I am passionate about working with adults who are motivated for that change. I work with Somatic Experiencing, EMDR, Brainspotting, Internal Family Systems (IFS) and other therapies to treat anxiety/depression, grief and loss, PTSD, past traumas or current triggers, interpersonal conflict, attachment differences and more.

When daily life becomes overwhelming, we often disconnect from ourselves and others. As a therapist, I believe self-discovery and insight into one’s own process is not only necessary for growth, but the purest form of self compassion. With genuine compassion and support, I aim to provide a space, absent of judgments or assumptions, in which you can tune into your true self.

I take a holistic approach to counseling, with an emphasis on mind, body and spirit in relationship to self and others. I specialize in trauma informed practices utilizing modalities such as EMDR, CBT, DBT, and family systems therapy.I am a Children's Mental Health Therapist and a Minority Mental Health Therapist with experience working with Native American, Hispanic and African American and LGBTQ populations.

I've worked for the past 8 years with men in their recovery from active sex/porn addiction, and for the past 5 years I've been working with partners/spouses who've been traumatized by such hidden behavior, and its relational damage.

With nearly a decade of experience as a licensed therapist and certified sex addiction therapist I use specific tools to help you focus on moving past the grip of sexually destructive behavior. Therapy can be difficult, challenging, but also freeing and rewarding. I offer a safe place to discuss hard things and to process traumatic things. Life can be hard and we all just need a listening ear. I will be your biggest advocate but also will not just tell you what you want to hear.

You’re on a unique journey. Your struggle matters. Have you ever heard of the term "Kintsugi" before? It's an ancient Japanese art form wherein an artist takes the broken pieces of a vase, and mends the cracks back together to restore the art piece. Each crack is then highlighted with strokes of shimmery, golden paint. Kintsugi encourages the artist to heartily and radically embrace the pottery's scars to reveal a new and enriched beauty. I have always been inspired by the redeeming process of the Kintsugi art, especially as it relates to counseling. The very art form itself seems to question why brokenness should invalidate worth, pride, beauty, and value.
