I feel counseling is an opportunity for individuals to have an open space to share their story. I work with a variety of age groups including adolescence, teenagers, and adults. I also provide both couples counseling, pre-martial counseling, and individualized counseling. I specialize in working with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, Bi-Polar, ADHD/ADD, Autism, Intellectual/Developmental Disability. I use a variety of counseling approaches and understands there is no "one approach fits all." Counseling should be individualized to the individual, their needs, and what they hope to get out of counseling.

Working collaboratively, we will start the process of moving towards the change you would like to see in your life. My primary goal as a therapist is for you to feel safe and understood during therapy. Whether you are struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, eating disorders, parenting challenges or simply feel lost, we can work together to bring peace and stability back to your life.

I use several therapeutic approaches including CBT, DBT, SFT Narrative therapy to support individual clients, and families. I work with youth 10 or older, couples, parents, and adults seeking professional counseling.

I respect it takes courage to seek and partner with a therapist. My core values as a clinician are to provide others utmost respect, hope, resiliency, concern, empathy, challenge, creating a path to recovery and healing. I enjoy working with adults through age sixty-five, and children ages four through twenty-one, including families. I have been a Marriage and Family Therapist for thirty plus years, I am honored to enter with others in their healing journey.

Relationships are key to the individual human experience. My practice specializes in therapy for individuals, couples, and families who are seeking to strengthen their current relationships following recent conflict, a difficult life event, individual or family trauma, or any other disruptive experiences. Annie's past clinical experience includes working with a variety of clients at a community mental health agency dedicated to reaching underserved populations. Prior to becoming a licensed mental health counselor associate.Annie worked as a board-certified music therapist at a state psychiatric hospital for six years. Annie utilized a variety of expressive arts and therapeutic activities in both individual and group therapy settings.

My passion is to work with those that are going through a psychedelic journey, helping patients make sense of the messages received from their psyche. I also work with families, couples and individuals who are currently experiencing anxiety, depression, difficult life transitions, and PTSD. My work is informed through strategic perspective, which examines how we create patterns in our lives, and our attempted solutions, also the narrative perspective, which allows us to rewrite our story.

Sometimes we are able to handle life's difficulties on our own and sometimes we could use the help of a professional to conquer our dilemmas. I am honored to help people through those rough patches, and at all times guide them in a nonjudgmental, confidential, caring way. I do not take a 'one size fits all' approach to counseling. I am Licensed Mental Health Counselor, and have been credentialed by Washington State as a Child Mental Health Specialist and a Mental Health Professional. I have extensive experience working with children, adolescents, adults, individuals and couples. My priority is to create space for my clients to feel safe and supported with whatever challenges they are currently facing. I have advanced training in Trauma focused cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing and emotion focused couples therapy. I have worked in a community mental health setting and correctional facilities dealing with co-morbid disorders.

Depression, anxiety, conflict, betrayal and relationship issues impact all areas of our lives and can be addressed in a respectful and straight forward manner.
