Chances are if you’re reading this, things are getting to be way too much. During times like these it can be difficult to see a clear path forward and it can be challenging to cope. I am here to support and guide you in the process of looking within so you can face things deep inside of yourself. Sometimes this can be challenging work. We will work collaboratively to safely move towards discomfort and make connections between the way your history, thoughts, emotions, and body sensations impact the way you respond to the world. I am licensed in NJ and PA and specialize in treating trauma, anxiety, depression, & interpersonal issues. I work from a psychodynamic, attachment based perspective. I am trained in EMDR & am IFS informed. I also incorporate mindfulness & meditation. Treatment is not one size fits all, so we will tailor your therapy to meet your needs.
Making real change is hard. I understand that reaching out for the initial session can be difficult, but when you're ready, we will work together to make some helpful shifts in your life. Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction
If you are ready to dive into meditation, this group is for you. Learn to trust yourself, let go of trying to control things or resist things, release judgments, & sit with yourself & your emotions on purpose. Over the course of 8 weeks you will learn ways to incorporate mindfulness and meditation into your life. We will engage in an array of different meditations in group and there will be home practice as well. By the end you will be able to tune into yourself with increased awareness, compassion, gentleness, & care. You will learn to live with ease & acceptance & decrease stress.
