I am a clinical psychologist and Jungian analyst. I work with a range of individuals whose lives have become problematic due to hurt, wounding, disappointment, loss, grief and general life suffering that has resulted in symptoms of impasse, anxiety, depression, dysfunction and/or a loss of potential. My view of the therapeutic relationship is of a mutual effort to work together to discover a way to continue psychological development, to seek a way to heal and find a deeper sense of vitality, renewal and meaning, In addition, I work well with university students, artists, and with those who are struggling with spiritual issues.
My approach varies from individual to individual. Each situation calls for a unique approach to be developed within the treatment process. I am trained to work with the unconscious, with dreams, images and symbols that reveal underlying issues and often indicate a direction for the work, as well as in traditional ways.
Certified in both clinical psychology and psychoanalysis, Past President, American Board and Academy of Psychoanalysis. general psychotherapy, Jungian psychoanalysis, and clinical supervision for students in psychology, psychiatry, analytic candidates, and professional psychotherapists interested in Jungian analysis.published widely in the above fields.
