NEW WMC is offering a new Teens Body Image group to help individuals gain a healthier perception of their bodies, and to increase their coping skills toolbox surrounding body image concerns or positivity. Topics and skills include discussions around body checking, diet culture, social media, and more! Group Information: - Meets weekly, Tuesdays 6-7:30 pm starting 9/6 - Virtual skills-based group - This group is open to everyone, 18+, is LBGTQ+ affirming - Open to NY, CT, NJ & FL residents - $100/group (weekly) If interested, or for referrals, please email us!
A typical therapy session is 45 minutes. However, WMC provides full 60-minute sessions! WMC strives to work closely with a client's treatment team, including their psychiatrist, sober coach, or physician in order to approach treatment from multiple modalities for effective results. Lastly, clients are provided access to their therapist directly.
As a way to provide phone coaching and make sure the skills learned in sessions can be applied in real-time, clients are encouraged to reach out to their therapist by email or phone when extra support is needed. Come visit our website! wisemindcounselingllc.com

We have two awesome DBT skills groups going on Mondays or Sundays both from 3:30 PM to 5 PM. The group includes a phone coaching service and is $100 per session. We review our 28-week curriculum in the group and incorporate a mindful meditation at the beginning and a gratitude exercise at the end. LGBTQ Affirming! Worksheets are provided weekly!

WMC is incredibly excited to share about our new DBT Program for Teens! We will be opening up our very first Weekly DBT Skills Group for ages 13-17, starting April 6th, 2022! This virtual group will be on Wednesdays from 4pm-5:30 pm weekly and covers our 28-week curriculum, tailored specially for adolescent concerns and struggles. The group fee is $150/session, and of course, includes our 24/7 phone coaching feature! All clients are required to be engaged with an individual therapist for added support.
