We noticed these communities were confronted with long wait times, disrespectful admins, and subpar treatment. The one and only purpose was to exploit the community for profit without providing the level of care deserved. Footprints began from the inspiration to provide quality mental health care to the poorest of communities and treating the clients of this community the same way a rich patient would be treated in a clinic treating affluent clients.

I am a firm believer in the Strengths Based Approach. That each individual, has the ability to overcome, learn, strive and succeed with the right support and resources. Over the past few years, I have dived into the scientific studies of Trauma & its historic impact on our bodies & mental health. I have also studied & practiced the science of meditation & its remarkable ability to alleviate anxiety & depression.

The mind is where everything is processed which determines how an individual thinks, believes, and reacts to the game of life. Blurred vision does not discriminate. It can allow unwanted thoughts to take over and set the individual on a path that is not demonstrating a "Beautiful Expression of Life".
