I have over 30 years extensive experience working with both adolescents and adults in providing educational and treatment services. This philosophy has proven to provide an environment to build a spiritual foundation for continual sobriety and recovery from long term embedded hurts, habits and ongoing destructive behavior patterns that are the root causes of one's substance abuse.

I worked for Youth Dynamics Inc as a Therapeutic Group Home youth therapist. Currently, I am a private therapist providing a wide range of therapy services to adults, teens, and youth, including equine assisted therapy.

Hello. My name is Josh Pate-Terry, and I am a licensed clinical social worker in Montana. I am skilled in motivational interviewing, substance use disorders, and I am a certified clinical anxiety treatment professional, a certification that provides me with expertise in the neuroscience, treatment, and psychopharmacology of anxiety. We, as human beings, are all very much both alike and different. As such, we want to create a treatment plan based on your individual needs and abilities by establishing clear goals and paths to achieving those goals.

I enjoy working with adults who suffer from grief and loss, trauma, and sport-related performance issues. To help overcome these challenges, I take a collaborative approach that focuses on understanding the problem to determine how best to resolve it. I believe that humans have a large capacity to be autonomous and self-directed. Thus, as a psychologist I help my clients realize this potential, promoting adaptive ways of coping, and work myself out of job as a result. Theoretically, I work from interpersonal, psychodynamic, and existential perspectives, and believe that the foundation of effective counseling stems from the therapeutic relationship.

Dr. Bütz has been a licensed psychologist for over twenty years, working both in executive management and conducting clinical, forensic and neuropsychological work. During the fall of 2015, Dr. Bütz moved his clinical and neuropsychoogical practice to St. Vincent Healthcare Behavioral Health Associates and maintained his forensic practice under Aspen Practice, P.C.

I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) and I have been licensed for 9 years helping people feel supported, navigate, and overcome obstacles. I have experience helping those who are experiencing anxiety, depression, Reactive Attachment Disorder, experience oppositional defiance, posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and marriage and couples counseling. I also work with those who have experienced emotional abuse while in narcissistic relationships and wanting control of their life again. I was born and raised in southeastern Montana, lived in Seattle for fifteen years, and returned to be closer to family. I am a survivor of trauma, have worked as a special education teacher in Seattle for twelve years, and have worked as a Licensed Psychotherapist and Licensed Addictions Counselor in Billings since 2004. My passions are Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), people with special needs, grief/loss, the elderly, veterans, and helping people in crisis in general. I understand how addiction impacts people in crises. I specialize in improving communication. I inform my practice with brain research. Hope is everything.
