His training has emphasized work with people of all ages from childhood to older adults. With extensive experience using both cognitive behavioral therapy and psychodynamic therapy, he is flexible and skilled in helping clients achieve their goals.
I have been trained in a number of different methods of addressing psychological suffering so we can tailor the treatment to what will work best for you. I have extensive experience working with individuals experiencing depression, anxiety, issues related to identity, trauma and relationships. Our conscious and unconscious beliefs can often be self defeating and having a trained experienced ally is helpful when sorting them out. I work with all ages however I have expertise in working with older adults with extensive experience in research and program management with this population.
When working with a client I emphasize establishing a strong working relationship that builds on the clients strength to achieving greater insight and command over the challenges they face. We work together to establish your goals for therapy and and provide sustained support as we strive toward to attain them.
