I work with adults and older adolescents (17+) struggling with interpersonal connection, adjustment disorders, depression and anxiety. I believe therapy is a collaborative process between myself and you (the client). We work as a team to develop a treatment plan tailored to your unique needs and according to your personal values and goals for a meaningful life.

Emotional struggles exist for all people, it matters whether we pay attention to them or not. It is a choice to come to therapy. It's an investment of your time, effort and mental well-being. The beauty of therapy is learning we are not alone and understanding and empathy are there for us to access as we live our daily lives. When thinking, decisions, actions and feels create a feeling of being "stuck" or confused, therapy can be one of your options. Feelings are always there. They exist whether we like it or not. Discovering how these feelings play out in our lives, can bring us to a new level of productive awareness.

Our perception of self, the aftermath on our nervous system & how it disconnects us from ourselves and others. Our brains have natural healing mechanisms. My name is Tom Zinski. Kari is now accepting children ages 6+ for in-person therapy and 15+ for telehealth or in-person. Kari believes that people are innately driven to achieve wholeness. Encouraging clients to actively listen to their minds and bodies, Kari creates a warm atmosphere of safety. She supports clients as they do the transformative work of identifying their growth areas and empowering their curiosities.

I enjoy working with many different clients with a diverse background. I enjoy helping others identify their strengths in order to use those strength and solve problems as they arise. I often work with those struggling with mood disorders, self-harm and suicide concerns, and many others.
