I incorporate Geek and Nerd culture into both my individual therapy and my group therapy! I believe that nerdy interests can help us make sense of the world just like music or art. I treat both individual clients as well as run Therapeauticallly Applied- Role Playing Game Social Skills groups!
Through individual therapy, we can work on processing trauma, stress, and complex emotions in a one-on-one setting. Through Therapeutically Applied Role Playing Social Skills groups you can practice your coping mechanisms and social skills by identifying goals and playing RPG games like Dungeons and Dragons!
