She has a Bachelor’s of Arts in Psychology from Temple University, a Master of Education in Counseling Psychology from Cambridge College, and a Doctor of Education in Professional Counseling and Supervision from American International College. Her areas of specialized training are crisis intervention, family systems work, and behavior modification with clients diagnosed with comorbid disorders. Dr. Carter is also an Adjunct Faculty member at Goodwin University with a public health background, helping students explore factors that might affect academics.

It is common to find oneself, at some point, caught up in behaviors or beliefs that create suffering and seem impossible to change.
