I began working in the field at 16 for an afterschool program at an outside placement school, things progressed from there. From then to now I completed a BS in Business and an MEd in Counseling & School Adjustment, I obtained an LCMHC in NH and LMHC in MA. I have worked with individuals, couples and families in many settings including schools, residential programs, detention settings, office settings and in the community.

I focus primarily on evaluating children, adolescents and adults through Psychological or Psychoeducational Testing. Testing can I help people to discover their intellectual strengths and weaknesses, learning style, emotional triggers and better ways to deal with stress or confusion. In addition to diagnosing things like ADHD, Anxiety Disorders, Depression, Asperger's, Autism, Mood Disorders and Learning Disabilities (something most school systems are unable to do when testing students who are struggling), I can help kids and adults access the services (e.g., therapeutic, educational, vocational and/or pharmacological) that are most likely to improve the quality of their lives.

I am an LICSW with extensive training and experience in providing treatment to adolescents, adults, families and couples. My expertise is in working with mental illness,substance use disorders, trauma, postpartum and suicide prevention. For me, psychotherapy must address the needs of the person. Although a therapist may have an armory of techniques to use, what I have found to be at the heart of any type of psychotherapy is whether the relationship works between you and your therapist.
