Grace Health & Wellness, LLC was established for the purpose of offering therapeutic services for children, youth, adults, and families. Services are provided in an effort to effectively address challenging emotions and behaviors that may adversely affect individual or family functioning.

The purpose of therapy is to restore the client to a healthy state of life by helping to remove barriers that may hinder this process. I specialize in the mental health care of children, adults, couples and families. My services include individual, group, marriage counseling and family therapy. Parent training, workshops, play therapy and prevention groups are also offered. I have twenty years experience working within the field of mental health. I utilize a number of therapeutic techniques and interventions that are tailored to the the client. I'm an Independent Assessor, Clinical Supervisor, mentor and consultant.

I work with children, adolescents, adults, and seniors that have challenges embracing major life events that impact their ability to function at home, school, work, and the community.

Together, we can explore what inner turmoil, events, relationships and/or other factors may be causing distress in your life and develop tools and skills to overcome these hardships. I obtained my Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology at the University of Mississippi in 2008; I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), a National Certified Counselor and a Certified Trauma Professional.

Since 2000, I've been working in the New Orleans and Acadiana communities helping children, families, and adults. As a social worker, I firmly believe that it is my calling to provide a safe and supportive environment for you, your child, or your family. I have worked extensively with people struggling with depression, anxiety, trauma, maternal/ postpartum depression, pregnancy/ infant loss, reproductive mental health, and family issues. I have a certificate in Infant Mental Health as well as a Perinatal Mental Health Certification which gives me a unique perspective for us to explore together.

Kramer McDaniel is the owner of Agape Therapeutic Solutions. She has 11 years of behavioral health experience and has obtained a Masters of Social Work degree with a certification in Gerontology from Louisiana State University and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of Louisiana at Monroe. Kramer’s career has been focused on holistic healing, grief and loss, life transition, and motivating others to live life on purpose. She prides herself on meeting people where they are and helping them create the life they want by acknowledging that healing starts with love (agape).

Dana Booth, LCSW specializes in grief/loss/trauma counseling with children, adolescents, adults, couples and families. Having 35 years experience in hospitals, schools, Grief Recovery Center and now private practice, I personally know how sudden, anticipated, or traumatic grief can change your world. Depression/Anxiety often accompany grief/transitions in life and it's a healthy choice to reach out for support. It's a privilege to walk along side one on his/her grief journey. It's too heavy of a burden to carry alone. EMDR and evidence based therapeutic tools can relieve some of the heaviness you carry.

Catherine Proa is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who obtained her Master’s of Social Work from the University of Maryland in 1996. She has been working with children, adults, families, and couples for the past 24 years. Catherine has extensive experience working with various therapeutic methodologies to provide individualized approaches for her clients. She also specializes in grief and bereavement issues and has a true understanding of loss. In 2017, Catherine became certified in Compassionate Bereavement Care through the MISS Foundation and The Elisabeth Kubler-Ross Family Trust, Sedona, AZ.
