Most of my clients are ordinary people who have been sexually abused as children or adults, or are from alcoholic families, or are struggling with alcoholism in their current life. They may be having difficulty adjusting to changing circumstaaances in their lives due to divorce or loss of a family member or friend. Many of my clients are experiencing depression or anxiety or chronic worry.

In this increasingly wacky world, life can happen in a way that doesn't always seem to work. Change may be scary, leaving you feeling lost without a roadmap. I work to create a safe, supportive environment, free from judgment so you can show up and put whatever you're thinking and feeling on the table. We navigate together - exploring and sorting out your strengths and inner dialogue to harness your power (it's in there!). My goal is to help you reduce feelings of stress, sadness, and confusion, open your mind to possibilities, and give you concrete, practical new tools and strategies to get you back on your best path.

This is a beginning; change is difficult. It's strength, not weakness, to seek help and make changes. Learning how to see our behaviors from a different perspective is valuable. Healing often comes through verbalizing our feelings.
