I see counseling as a collaborative and dynamic process in which you and I come to understand and trust one another, work as a team to explore and define the present problem, situations, and concerns, develop future goals for an improved life, and work in a systematic fashion toward realizing those goals. I focus on child and adolescent clients with social and anger management concerns, among other issues and concerns. Although it is my preference to work with child and adolescent clients, I enjoy working with adults throughout the life span.

We have the power within to stand up and push through the most adverse situations but occasionally lose our balance and fall down. My goal is to help you figure out how to get back up and continue the journey of life by learning from the past, and planning and preparing for the future, but really living in the present, as the gift that it is.

Counseling is not just an educational endeavor for me, it is my true life’s passion. As my primary spiritual/natural gift, my purpose on earth is to utilize my counseling skills to serve others in any capacity that I can. We have all felt sad, angry, lonely, misunderstood, unforgiven, misused, abused, fed up, and so on and so forth. Our goal in therapy would be to examine your emotional well being and how it impacts your life. While you process through everything from past trauma to current conflicts, it is significant to know that your growth and healing is what is most important to me.

There are often situations that arise that are out of our control, as well as those that are in our control. Regardless of the category, there remains the fact that there are struggles and challenges that impacts managing day to day life. It takes both courage and resilience to reach out for help.
