Center Point Therapy Group is an outpatient therapy and assessment practice that specializes in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), an evidenced-based and effective approach to treating psychological and behavioral concerns. CBT involves identifying and changing thought and behavior patterns that drive negative emotions and give rise to difficulties in your life through an active collaboration between the clinician and client. I am a licensed professional counselor in New Orleans, LA with 9 years of experience working in behavioral health. I completed my educational training at Xavier University of Louisiana with a Master's of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, parenting problems, mood disorders, and ADHD. I also helped many people who have experienced physical trauma or emotional abuse.

I have 23 years of clinical experience working with a variety of populations including women in crisis, couples, children and adolescents. I'm skilled in helping clients sort through a multitude of personal and mental health issues including depression, anxiety, adoption and infertility, substance use disorders, stage of life challenges, family conflicts, and other mood and personality disorders. I'm also proficient in helping clients navigate the trauma of childhood abuse, domestic violence and sexual assault. I happily serve clients from all backgrounds, yet have a specialized interest in the hearts and minds of Black women.
