I am a licensed and board certified counselor who is experienced in working with children and adults in school, community, and hospital settings. I view counseling as a collaborative journey in which the counselor and client work together to build a relationship of trust and understanding so that we can effectively determine strengths, support systems, and areas for growth as well as establish goals and work towards mental health stabilization.

I see counseling as a collaborative and dynamic process in which you and I come to understand and trust one another, work as a team to explore and define the present problem, situations, and concerns, develop future goals for an improved life, and work in a systematic fashion toward realizing those goals. I focus on child and adolescent clients with social and anger management concerns, among other issues and concerns. Although it is my preference to work with child and adolescent clients, I enjoy working with adults throughout the life span.

My goal is to help you figure out how to get back up and continue the journey of life by learning from the past, and planning and preparing for the future, but really living in the present, as the gift that it is.

I am Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Louisiana. He is a native of New Orleans, Louisiana, and has resided in Baton Rouge since 1993. My specialties include mental health, substance abuse addiction, depression, anxiety grief, divorce, stress, and working with couples, to include LGBTQ. My work background includes, EAP Counselor, Alcohol Drug Social Work Supervisor, Program Manager. My experience includes both outpatient and inpatient, and both public and private employment. I am a member of the Louisiana Counseling Association and currently pursuing a Doctorate in Christian Counseling.
