I provide individual therapy to young adults and adults experiencing a range of concerns including substance use, trauma, life transitions, and the unique stressors men face. I approach counseling from the perspective that you already have strengths and abilities that you can use to become your strongest self. Together, we find those strengths and put them to work towards your goals. As part of this I often use Cognitive Behavioral therapy, a technique that looks at the relationship between your thoughts, feelings and behaviors. It’s been shown to be incredibly effective at helping people make lasting changes in their lives.

After graduating from Clark Atlanta University with a degree in psychology, I developed a passion for helping people strengthen their most important relationships. As a second year student pursuing my master's degree in marriage and family therapy, I have gained valuable clinical knowledge and skills needed to support couples and families in building stronger relationships.

As a therapist, I feel it is important to provide a non-judgmental space, where you can feel safe becoming vulnerable and processing any struggles you may be going through in life. I want to give you the support you need while also fostering independence by helping you recognize your strengths and teaching you skills to gain a sense of control and ability to cope. I have experience working with teens and adults with issues such as depression, suicidality, self-harm, trauma, anxiety, and family conflict. I have also worked closely with the Hispanic community and am able to provide therapy in Spanish.

I specialize in strengthening couple and family relationships, whether daily challenges or more serious issues involving infidelity, addiction, or betrayal trauma. I work to increase happiness through strengthening, remodeling, or rebuilding relationships. I help clients build communication, conflict resolution, and life skills as well as increasing connection. I work with people across the lifespan, from children to adolescents, to adults, individually or in a relationship. As a play therapist, I am skilled in working with children and adolescents. As a marriage and family therapist, I love to help build couple and family skills.

I am a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) who specializes in partnering with individuals, couples, and families to work toward healing from eating disorders (including ARFID) and other related or co-occurring mental health and emotional concerns. I am Internal Family Systems (IFS) Level 1 trained and have experience working at inpatient, residential, and partial hospitalization levels of care, as well as experience working with families with DFCS involvement and children in the foster care system.

Life can be painful as it is currently being lived and I strive to help clients balance acceptance and change as they discover their Life Worth Living. My goal is to meet client’s where they are while acknowledging how big T and small T traumas impact our development, experiences, and views of ourselves and the world. I am a licensed psychologist. I complete psychological evaluations on children, adolescents and adults. For children, I specialize in attachment stress in children who have been been adopted or otherwise are being raised by someone other than their biological parents. For adults, I specialize in general personality assessment and parenting capacity.
