I am a Psychologist and Certified Psychodynamic Psychotherapist, as well as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Florida (LMHC). I am also an active member of the American Counseling Association. I work mostly with young adults and couples, helping them to find happiness, joy, and self-understanding.

Often time, people begin psychotherapy as a result of feeling disconnected from themselves or the world. When overwhelmed by life, you may notice feeling drained, disconnected, dissatisfied with your relationships, and at times physically unwell. In therapy, I create a safe space to explore past, present, and future struggles and work towards goals in order to live a more insightful, balanced, fulfilled life.

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with over 15 years of professional experience providing psychotherapy services. I work with adults, adolescents, children and couples. Accepting new clients! For the past 16 years, I have worked with children, adolescents, adults and families in a variety of capacities. I am a board-certified Licensed Mental Health Counselor. I love working with children and specialize in play therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy and psychodynamic therapy. However, multiple modalities are interwoven in my work to meet my client's needs.

I have extensive experience with individual therapy, working for substance use treatment centers, and working at various psychiatric hospitals. I have worked in roles including Behavioral Health Tech, Case Management, Primary Therapist, and Clinical Supervisor. I have worked with age groups ranging from young children to geriatrics. I prefer to work with adults of all ages with all types of substance use histories/mental health issues. I firmly believe that in order to help someone, you have to understand them. In order to understand someone, you require personal life experience to truly understand where they are coming from.

As a bilingual, bicultural, Latina, clinical social worker, I have dedicated my practice to working with women, who like me, have been judged, misunderstood, silenced, and oftentimes overlooked.
