Looking for the "right" therapist can be a daunting task. It might be helpful to know, I felt it was necessary to first earn the right to accompany others on their personal psychological journeys by embarking on the same psychological journey, on which, I would be inviting and accompanying my clients. In addition to my formal education, it is by continuing on my own therapeutic journey, that has afforded me a deep comfort level, degree of understanding and respect of this process, regardless of what in particular finds you seeking support. I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor with over 10 years of experience. I work out of two offices, one on Main Street in Newark (within walking distance of University of Delaware), the other within Equity Fitness in Elkton. I am trained in EMDR. I am also an ACE Certified Personal Trainer, and Precision Nutrition Certified Nutrition Coach. As a former D1 athlete, my approach to psychotherapy is a holistic one.
