Epione Wellness has a partnership with Northwestern University allowing master's level interns the opportunity to train under Anne Fogg, a seasoned clinician and supervisor with expertise working with trauma.

For the past 25 years, I have helped people heal from the emotional pain that frequently results from divorce, trauma, abuse, the death of loved ones, and physical illness. I have helped people make changes so that they can lead happier and more rewarding lives. In my practice, the focus of therapy is on YOU, so that together we can increase your awareness about YOUR life patterns, build on YOUR strengths, and help YOU develop new coping strategies. I believe that problems can be solved when we learn to focus on our strengths while appreciating and dealing with our past.

Addressing the needs of the people who come to see me is my first focus. Dealing with the particulars of the situation is important, however I delve into the issues and help develop solutions and resources to overcome the underlying difficulty. I use a variety of techniques, both cognitive and somatic, while respecting the individuality of the individual.

I would like to offer you a genuine connection. One where safety and trust is not only valued, but prioritized as a means to deepen. My approach is first and foremost about fostering the therapeutic relationship itself. My focus is client-centered and rapport-oriented to cultivate a relationship where all of you is welcome. I understand the complexity of feelings and thoughts, and how they may feel overwhelming, uncomfortable, incongruent, challenging, or conflicting. I offer skills and tools to help befriend these parts so they feel more manageable. I believe healing is not linear and am here to support you on your unique journey.

Gabriel’s primary focuses include working with children, teenagers, and adults who struggle with the effects of trauma, anxiety, and OCD. She worked as a therapist with the Child Trauma Services Program within the OU Health Sciences Center where she supported youth with PTSD, has practiced within the UCO Psychology Clinic supporting adults with various presentations of anxiety (e.g. social anxiety, phobias), and has practiced within a specialized group practice supporting individuals with OCD and PTSD. Gabriel is committed to utilizing evidence-based therapy practices and recognizes each client as deserving of individualized care.

Let’s be honest-therapy is uncomfortable! There’s no getting around that squirmy “I can’t believe I have to tell this stranger my problems” feeling. The only way to make progress is to move through those feelings. I am here to be by your side and guide you through the numerous emotions that come up in session. I admire my clients for their ability to face the challenges of therapy with veracity, strength, and sometimes humor. I’m here to make the therapy process marginally less uncomfortable by providing a safe, non-judgmental space.

Therapy can be an invitation to explore our inner world and how it relates to the development of the self, relationships, and our way of making meaning in this world. My aim as a psychologist is to offer that unique space to clients where transformation, challenge and deeper understanding can occur. I specialize in work with LGBTQ+ youth and adults, in grief and loss, end of life concerns, identity development, trauma, anxiety, depression, chronic illness, and psychosocial oncology. I work with adults, children, and adolescents for psychotherapy and provide assessments for autism, learning disabilities and social/emotional concerns.
