I have had the privilege of serving children and adults in community-based programs and in private practice for the past 25 years. During this time, I have seen the impact that unattended mental health struggles can have on one's relationships, work, parenting, physical health and family life. As humans, we all have moments of struggle with distressing thoughts and emotions. 1 in 5 adults struggle with a mental health problem. Many suffer alone without reaching out and getting support. It is important to me to provide a welcoming and warm environment and remove barriers that prevent people from receiving the help they need.

Hi, I am a licensed marriage and family Bilingual psychotherapist with more than ten years of clinical experience treating individuals and families. I also have a doctorate in psychology. Many individuals I work with have been to therapy before and have felt some relief but eventually reverted to old unhealthy behaviors. Through our work together, we will get to the root of the issues to allow for sustainable healing and growth, and you will notice an improvement in your mood, motivation, and relationships. Jackie has experience working with the Latinx, LGBTQIA+ communities and mainly works with adults and has experience with children and adolescents. Additionally, Jackie has been trained and is certified in writing psychosocial evaluations for immigration purposes and is focused on Hardship Waivers, Asylum, T-Visa, U-Visa, and VAWA.
