I enjoy working with couples; you didn't get the manual with your relationship but it's not too late. I also love working with individuals on the path to spiritual awakening.

I choose to see life's challenges as invitations to know ourselves more honestly, and to accept ourselves as we are. I believe that when individuals are self-aware they experience life as more meaningful and challenges as less distressing. I help individuals struggling with depression, anxiety, life transitions and relationship issues, to embrace their wholeness and strengthen inner resources not yet recognized. From this place of knowing and alternate or adjusted perspective, individuals develop compassion for self and other, gain confidence in relationships, and feel more assured in their ability to address the challenges life presents.

Our mission is to provide quality online mental health and substance abuse services while breaking down the barriers of traditional, office based therapy. Traditional mental health and substance abuse treatment tends to focus on what makes you sick, what you are lacking but at The Mindful Lemon, our clinicians let you sit in the driver’s seat, focusing on your strengths and assets to help you become the best version of you! This can be via traditional talk therapy, medication management, mindfulness techniques, an emphasis on health, wellness and fitness or any combination of the above.

I feel grateful for the opportunity to journey alongside you on your path towards personal growth and healing. I believe that the ability to create a life of meaning comes from within and that everyone is capable of reaching their most personal and intimate goals. I have found that therapy can be beneficial to those at any stage of life and enjoy working with people of all ages. I’ve provided child therapy to children in elementary schools, worked with adult survivors of domestic violence and those who live with mental health challenges as well as with elders transitioning through the final phases of life.

I enjoy working with individuals and couples who are facing self-esteem/ self-worth concerns, relational issues, parenting struggles and those who seek to buffer the stressors of life. I also have experience with anxiety, depression, PTSD and relational distress and I am a Certified Emotionally Focused Couples Therapist (EFCT). It is my passion to help you discover the strengths you already carry inside of you and to help you develop stronger, more deeply connected relationships.

I believe all pain stems from disconnection. Disconnection from self, others, and a greater belonging to the natural world. As a social species, we need love and support from one another to thrive and co-create a felt sense of safety. I believe each individual has everything they need within themselves to heal and the stable presence of another supports this natural healing process.
