My view on therapy is very simple, though not always easy: 'through relationships, we heal’. Many of the barriers that inhibit healthy relationships include negative self-talk, fear of judgement, and our need to maintain a sense of control, especially when we are deeply hurt or wounded. Trauma does not discriminate and it does not wait for an opportune time to present, but we can make sense of it and heal old wounds that hold us back from really connecting with those we love.

First and foremost, therapy should make you feel cared for. A therapist needs to be insightful and honest with a huge dose of compassion. I have spent thousands of hours in the mental health field and have keynoted at national trainings for using experiential modalities. I am a certified-sex addiction therapist (CSAT-C) by ITAP. I view therapy through an emotional and attachment lens. and use modalities like emotionally focused therapy and experiential therapy. I tailor these modalities to meet the needs of each client. I focus on creating treatment with structure, shame reduction, and help foster meaningful connection and attachment with family and friends.

As mammals, we can use the natural force towards connection along with regulating our autonomic fitness to return to our joyful and intuitive self. I can help adults and teens create movement in the isolated "stuck places" and integrate unprocessed pain and suffering. I am passionate about serving children who also highly benefit from therapy by communicating their inner world through play.
