I work with kids (ages 10 & up), teens, & adults to overcome life's challenges from the past and present. This includes things such as anxiety, self-harm & depression, relational struggles, abuse & trauma recovery, grief, self-image, and sexuality issues. I welcome clients of all sexual orientations, gender identities, levels of romantic/sexual interest, body shapes & sizes, and relational dynamics as well as ethnicities & spiritual beliefs in the fullness of who they are.

I started my career as a case manager working with HIV clients for four years. After obtaining my clinical license in 2012, I provided therapy services to children and adults in the Department of Family Services system related to abuse and neglect. For the past six years I have worked with clients in the nursing home setting addressing depression, anxiety, adjustment disorders, dementia and pain management utilizing cognitive behavioral therapy, solution focused brief therapy and motivational interviewing techniques.

Mandy Young, LCSW is a mental health therapist with experience in trauma intervention, inpatient and outpatient hospitalization care through veteran and civilian fields, end of life care, postpartum, depression, anxiety, bereavement and grief support. I am a Licensed Certified Social Worker in the state of Arkansas. I have served various positions in the mental health field since 2009 and have been a licensed therapist since 2013.

I have been practicing mental health counseling in Northwest Arkansas for over twenty years now. I have accumulated extensive experience in dealing with people who struggle with depression, anxiety, anger management problems, addiction problems of various types, and relationship issues that affect individuals at home, at work, and in there every day lives.

As a social worker, I strive to help the people who come to me for therapeutic services acknowledge and recognize their concerns, identify their emotions, and find their voice and verbalize their thoughts and feelings. I live and work in the River Valley. Formerly a safety engineer in Chicago, I later trained as a Marriage and Family Therapist in The Canadian Rockies. I’ve been practicing for over 14 years and provide a Christ-centered approach to therapy. I have over 8000 hours of experience with youth issues. I enjoy working with couples and families, helping people fall in love again. I have helped many people work through loss, trauma and, also trained in and advanced trauma techniques using EMDR therapy. I have seen many clients with sexual issues. My name is Melissa Harrison, and I am a Licensed Certified Social Worker with over 5 years of experience providing therapy to children, teens, and adults in Central Arkansas. I work with clients experiencing a number of concerns, such as anxiety, depression, PTSD, and many others. I am especially passionate about working with clients to heal trauma, find purpose, and adjust to life’s stressors and changes.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Arkansas. I offer individual therapy and enjoy working with individuals, teens, and young adults. I believe in working with clients using a holistic therapy approach to problems and will utilize a blend of evidence based therapies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Interpersonal theory. Additionally, I am nationally trained in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.

Accepting new clients this April! I see adults for outpatient psychotherapy, in the office and via teletherapy sessions. Blue Cross insurance plans only. Currently the self pay fee is $150 per hour long office or teletherapy session.

I’ve been a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) for the past 17 years and have worked in many different types of community services such as Geropsych, Hospice, Inpatient Psych and now working with Domestic Violence survivors and their alleged offenders - adults and children through the military. I’m also trained as a Forensic Child Interviewer. I’m well versed in personality disorders and mood disorders, along with aging and marital issues.
