I have a MS in Counseling Psychology earned from the University of Central Arkansas in 2010. I have been an Independently Licensed Psychological Examiner since 2013 which allows me to provide services most counselors cannot, such as psychological evaluations. I enjoy working everyone and I am LGBTQ affirming! I have worked with parents, children, adults, foster caregivers, behavioral health providers, caregivers for adults and children who suffer from chronic disorders, couples, as well those struggling to accept a loved one's lifestyle. I am authentic and genuine with my clients, and this is not about me this is your hour!

I’ve been a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) for the past 17 years and have worked in many different types of community services such as Geropsych, Hospice, Inpatient Psych and now working with Domestic Violence survivors and their alleged offenders - adults and children through the military. I’m also trained as a Forensic Child Interviewer. I’m well versed in personality disorders and mood disorders, along with aging and marital issues. I am licensed in Arkansas (private pay and some insurances), North Dakota and Nevada.

I enjoy working with couples and families to help them learn how to effectively communicate and build connection. I have experience in working with a variety of issues including anxiety, depression, relationship issues, life transitions, and trauma. I have a special interest in working with clients who identify as neurodivergent, including children, adolescents, and adults who have been diagnosed with Autism, ADHD, and other conditions. In my experience, here are certain challenges these individuals face that can lead to stress, secondary anxiety and depression, and ultimately burnout.

Understanding the world around you can be challenging, especially when faced with anxiety, depression, self-esteem issues, or general life stress. Children, teens, and young adults may have even more of a challenge if they are still learning about themselves or have experienced stressors beyond their control. Learning skills to overcome these stressors or wanting to create a deeper understanding of the self are two reasons young adults or parents (of children in need) may seek out therapy.

Many individuals who struggle with their mental health at such a young age begin to fill the void of what they believe is missing in their lives with negative vices. I also have experience in sexual, chemical, and process addiction treatment. Further, I work with existential crises guiding clients to find meaning and purpose.
