We specialize in the diagnosis and treatment of Adults with ADD/ADHD. Receiving a thorough assessment from a therapist specializing in ADD/ADHD is an important step towards managing ADD/ADHD. Not every person who receives a diagnosis has every symptom of ADD/ADHD or experiences the severity of symptoms to the same degree. As part of your assessment we will determine what symptoms are affecting your life and focus treatment on your particular presentation of ADD/ADHD. Our program is an "out of network provider" for all insurance plans. We can provide the necessary documentation to submit if your insurance accepts out of network

Working with diverse populations in a variety of health care settings has allowed me to develop a range of skills to integrate into therapy. My approach is integrative, practical, and supportive. When appropriate, I use biofeedback and mindfulness skills in our work together. I have trained with teachers including John Kabat-Zinn, Jack Kornfield, Dan Siegel, Ron Epstein, and Bob Stahl, among others.

But what do you do when differences lead to never-ending battles because you never get close to the real issues? Or when withdrawal leads to resentments that are never addressed at all. The clients I specialize in include children/youth and their parents/caregivers where distress manifests behaviorally, either with acting out or more internalized behavior (anxiety symptoms). The distress could be driven by past trauma or family disruptions such as as early separation or divorce. As a result children often experience a lack of safety which interferes with the development of strong relationships. These factors, if not addressed, can lead to emotional and physical health problems later in life.
