I work with adults, teens, and couples struggling with depression, anxiety, and the inability to effectively communicate. With individuals, I help reframe challenges and liberate talents, especially in men alienated from the economy and meaningful purpose. I taught for years in a high school, and thus am comfortable working with adolescents. My orientation is eclectic, however I draw mostly from psychodynamic and relational theory, as well as CBT techniques. I find these approaches complementary, even necessary to establish a holistic treatment plan.

Dr. Will Barone is a licensed clinical psychologist with extensive clinical and research experience focusing on anxiety, trauma, mood disorders, relationship issues, and substance use. He uses a Humanistic approach to therapy, which emphasizes warmth, authenticity, and appreciation for the uniqueness of every individual. His collaborative, integrative approach focuses on helping clients find an individualized course of treatment to best meet their goals. In addition to traditional psychotherapy, Dr. Barone also specializes in Psychedelic-Assisted Therapy, currently using Ketamine-assisted therapy for clients when appropriate.

My primary area of focus has been working with people who suffer from trauma and anxiety, in addition to depression. I do much work with those who suffer from emotional neglect, abuse histories, & post-traumatic stress (PTSD). I'm certified in EMDR and am continually impressed at the ability of something so simple to so rapidly relieve pain and suffering. EMDR has been listed as one of the leading trauma therapies. It can also be very effective in helping those who suffer from a childhood history of family difficulties and a lack of nurturing. Also trained in Somatic Experiencing.
