I offer a flexible and collaborative working relationship with each client in therapy, including meeting an individual where they're at to facilitate awareness, relief, and support the process of change. The relationship between a therapist and a client is an important one and can often be one of the richest, transformative parts of the therapeutic work.
My experience includes treating individuals, couples, and families and I work with children, adolescents, and adults. I have a particular interest in the areas of mood disorders, women's issues, reproductive trauma, relationship issues, divorce, and psychological development throughout the life span.
I use a variety of techniques in therapy, but maintain a psychodynamic approach, including an interest in the role of the unconscious as well as the impact of early developmental experiences.
