I am a licensed clinical psychologist specializing in psychotherapy, and psychological and neuropsychological testing with children, adults and adolescents. Stephanie specializes in couples work, integrating Imago Relationship Therapy (IRT) with Family Systems Theory and Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT). She has helped couples in the areas of effective communication, trust-building and infidelity recovery, enhanced sex life, co-parenting, and creating a more meaningful connection. Her approach is both LGBTQIA affirmative and sex positive. She also works with individuals from a wide range of cultural and life-stage backgrounds assisting with challenges including anxiety, depression, relationship struggles, grief and loss, identity exploration, sexual challenges, women’s issues, and trauma.

I strive to be a therapist who is empathic and non-judgmental while utilizing insight to help patients to increase self-awareness. I have witnessed clients become more empathic towards themselves as well seeing their suffering decrease. Therapy can markedly improve the quality of clients' relationships, work, and play. The therapeutic process is a collaborative one which has potential for transformation, heightened self-awareness and a sense of integrated wholeness. In my work I integrate elements of Gestalt therapy, IFS, EMDR and somatic approaches to explore patterns, uncover their origins and address accompanying emotions. Here's what I want you to know: You were born ready and able to be happy, and have a satisfying life--that's natures way. And, yet, at any point in life there can be many 'causes & reasons' for life turning in a different direction; and there can be many kinds of 'symptoms & behaviors’ that emerge when things go sideways; and when this occurs, we all can use some support to get back on track. For right now, just know that reaching for support is itself a sign of strength, and is also built into our human nature.
