I have spent my career working with adolescents, young children, and their families. I started my career as a high school English teacher, but quickly realized my passion for mental health and helping adolescents manage their mental health in order to learn and engage fully. Inspired by my teaching experience, I pursued a Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling and transitioned from the role of classroom teacher to school counselor. I ultimately decided to leave the school system to follow my heart and work full-time for Kairos Wellness Collective.

We specialize in helping individuals and families with long-term healing and recovery from addiction, behavioral compulsions, mental health challenges, and other acute, chronic and relapsing illnesses. We practice Invitational Intervention®, ARISE® Continuing Care with Intervention, which is Evidence-Based and proven to be effective. We match the Certified ARISE® Interventionists to the specific needs of the client and the family and are well connected to the best treatment centers across the country. We offer consultation, case management, safe transportation across transitions (geographic, family relationships and emotional), coaching, companionship (sober and mental health companions), placement and treatment advice and intervention.

Just as a doctor does not “heal” a broken bone, therapy does not heal the wounds of the heart and soul. I work with individuals and couples offering existential therapy to help you to live more fully and find new ways to face your predicaments, paradoxes and conflicts. Together we can explore your life and relationships to discover ways in which you can live more authentically, in alignment with your values. I trained and worked in England before moving to Boulder in 2010. I have over 20 years experience as a therapist; I bring that with me as I meet each new individual or couple. I will help you describe, clarify and unravel your relationship to the world, your self and other people. We do not have to start with your childhood.

I believe everyone has the capacity to grow, heal and change. My clients would say I value being approachable, authentic and creating a therapeutic space that is safe and non-judgmental. I take a trauma-informed, whole person approach to therapy. My focus is on helping you build confidence and resiliency to allow you to be the best version of yourself. We will work together to figure out what works best for you based on your unique goals. We are all different - what works for one person might not fit with another. I use a variety of techniques based on what works for you.
