I work with adults and couples. I enjoy consulting with people regarding a variety of problems such as trauma, anxiety, depression, struggles in relationships, divorce adjustment and life transitions. I can support you to get out of the crisis or chaos you are experiencing. I can also support deep healing from childhood wounds, trauma or distressing experiences. I have a passion for working with couples; helping them regain what has been lost and find what is possible. I also help clients understand factors that have supported the patterns they are stuck in.

I work with teens and adults struggling with anxiety, work/school and relationship issues. My specialization, however, is in marriage & family therapy using a systems approach and many methods introduced by John Gottman. I'm advanced trained in Discernment counseling as well. Finally, I work on the entire spectrum of relationships from dating to pre-marital to transitions or divorce. I also provide parenting coaching. I am also trained as a divorce mediator and help many people with parenting plans.

I believe in incorporating a positive psychological and holistic approach to the individuals I serve. By incorporating an overall wellness and "whole mind/body" approach with individuals, I believe each person can get the best out of themselves through mental health therapy. I utilize evidenced based clinical counseling techniques such as ACT, Mindfulness, CBT, Motivational Interviewing, and a variety of sport counseling/psychology modalities into practice. Lastly, I take an individual approach to every person I treat, knowing that every person is different and deserves authentic, genuine, and exceptional mental health care.

I have significant experience facilitating Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) for adults living with personality disorders as well as adolescents struggling with mood disorders and self-harm behaviors. I enjoy working with adolescents to effectively manage depression and anxiety symptoms, irritability, reactivity, relational stressors, communication issues, grief and loss, and self-esteem issues. I also like teaching skills and strategies to their parents and caregivers to they can feel resourced when supporting their young loved one outside of therapy.

I have been in the field of mental health for 30 plus years. My primary specialties include anxiety, depression, and post-partum concerns, which is why I have developed a practice in collaboration with Catalyst Mental Health that is exclusively focused on telehealth. However, I am also trained in EMDR, Internal Family Systems, Love and Logic Parenting, and I have expertise in chemical dependency as well. I work with individual adults, couples, adolescents.
