I specialize in working with adults and teens to help them heal from trauma, such as domestic violence, abuse, and neglect. I also support people in managing concerns like depression, anxiety, substance use, family/relationship conflict, grief, and anger management. I use evidence-based techniques including EMDR, EFT, CBT, and DBT. I have experience working within the LGBTQ+ community, and I am able to provide counseling in both English and Spanish.

I am a licensed counseling psychologist. I've been trained as a generalist. In addition, I've completed additional training in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and the Mind-Body Connection. Sarah BruBaker is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and has been providing therapy and support to clients since 2015. She has worked in clinical, community and school settings. She has specific experience working with children, teens and parents to address anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, self-harm, school-related issues, behavioral concerns, peer relationships, self-esteem, adoption, family conflict, and parent-child attachment issues. Sarah's Therapy Dog, Appa, joined her in June of 2022 to provide emotional support to children and adults during their counseling sessions when requested.

She enjoys being the calm in people's storm; providing a space where individuals can intentionally unpack the burdens of life's challenges and connect with their own experiences to cultivate a life of calm and purpose.

I have over 9 years experience working with families, couples, and individuals in school, community, and collaborative care settings. I have worked with clients to treat depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and trauma. I love working with kids of all ages as well as families or couples struggling with communication and conflict. I have a passion for helping parents develop greater enjoyment with both their partner and their children.
