Hello, my name is Keith Myers, and one of my goals is to crush the stigma of mental health. Many have a story about mental health, but not everyone feels free to share that story. I have worked in the mental health profession for over 21 years working with adult men, women, and older adolescents. These include military clients, those who are struggling with complex trauma or PTSD, those who need to improve their emotional regulation skills, and those who are coping with relationship problems and/or divorce. I also treat other trauma therapists. I am comfortable sitting with you in your suffering and celebrating your successes.

I am an intensively trained trauma therapist that utilizes EMDR therapy, Cognitive Processing Therapy, and other interventions within a context of a professional relationship. I am also trained in Gottman-method couples therapy (I & II) which does a deep dive exploration into the relationship and provides strengths to enhance and addresses areas for growth.

I provide a safe and warm environment where you can explore your past as it affects you in the present, enhance your present quality of life, and examine possible roadblocks to a meaningful and successful future. I also offer video conferencing and phone sessions for your convenience.

I often treat survivors of trauma and utilize EMDR therapy or Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT). When doing EMDR therapy, this typically includes 60-90 minute weekly sessions in order to reduce the symptoms of PTSD or trauma. The average length of EMDR treatment is 12 sessions, but this can vary based on many factors.
