I am a certified trauma professional, certified in DBT, Level II trained in EMDR, Level 3 in Brainspotting and Level III trained in Gottman Marital Therapy. I am also a Board Certified Coach. I specialize in adults, adolescents, couples and families.

I provide services to young adults and adults experiencing issues with anxiety, depression, life transitions, adjusting to new/different life situations, relationships, addiction, and trauma. I focus on identifying existing strengths and unlocking some new ones to move towards a more fulfilling life. Change can come in many forms in our lives. It might come suddenly like a tidal wave, or gradually like a slow dripping leak. It might come in the form of devastating tragedy, difficult choices, broken relationships, or even new opportunities. Although change can be extremely hard, it can also be extremely necessary. Experiencing anything great in life requires us to challenge ourselves to push past our comfort zones. However, we oftentimes avoid change out of fear of the unknown, or self-doubt. Other times, we don’t realize the need for change until we experience pain.

Most of my life has been devoted to professional counseling. I bring passion and dedication to my clients. I work with both adults and adolescents. I experience my greatest joy as they achieve their goals and experience healing.I use an integrative approach to therapy inspired by a variety of evidence based practices, including, but not limited to, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), solution focused therapy, and mindfulness. I've received advanced training in CBT, having successfully completed a cognitive behavioral therapy certificate course led by Dr. John Ludgate, who trained under Dr. Aron Beck, founder of cognitive therapy.

Dr. Edwards is a Clinical Forensic Psychologist, Ms. Grudowski is a Licensed Professional Counselor, and Ms. Golling is a Masters level clinician in Clinical Forensic work. They serve the greater Pittsburgh area, as well as across the Commonwealth. Dr. Edwards is unique as their academic training in Forensic Psychology involved both law and psychology specialty coursework. All associates have extensive forensic and clinical experience working with juveniles, adults, and families.
