Everyone has goals in life, but at times it may be difficult to achieve those goals, resulting in feelings of anxiety or depression. Using a holistic, strength-based approach we will explore factors that may have gotten in the way of achieving your goals, such as life stressors, relationship difficulties, or insecurities. Together we will focus on addressing these obstacles in order to allow you to achieve your goals and thrive. I also offer psychological testing to investigate what obstacles may be present (i.e., ADHD, memory problems, personality characteristics, etc.) and provide recommendations on how to best overcome them.

Life is difficult. There is always unfinished business from the past. We adapt to life's demands the best we can as children, developing core characterological traits and styles. Sometimes these patterns of coping with the world are not as adaptive as they could be. We find ourselves repeatedly drawn to people who are not good for us. We fear abandonment and isolation and desperately cling to the familiar even though we know, deep down inside, that it is destroying us. We develop rigid styles of responding that often prevent us from enjoying life.

My goal is to help you live your best life by identifying and challenging established patterns of behaving, feeling, and thinking that are interfering with your growth and well-being. I believe that therapy is for everyone and also understand that everyone’s story and experiences are unique. As such, my approach encompasses a broad variety of therapeutic techniques, ranging from traditional talk therapy to creative arts therapy to DBT, in order to meet my clients where they are.
