Over the past 40 years, I have helped many clients in their struggles to overcome the obstacles that interfere in their ability to achieve true happiness. Whether it be low self esteem, marital, parent/child /relationship problems or family of origin issues, I have successfully helped clients identify goals and reach them usually in a one to two year time frame. My client's have commented on my warmth, compassion and insight. I give helpful, thought provoking feedback while encouraging client's to come up with solutions and insights.
Although I have experience with many types of emotional disorders, I have had much experience with and success in treating individuals with anxiety/panic disorders as well as couples and group modalities.
Most of my clients find me to be compassionate and attentive to them as well as genuine in my desire to help them find positive and healthy coping skills. When they leave therapy, clients have usually learned to independently manage their stress and report overall improvement in their presenting problems .
